BIO455H5 • Museum Genomics

This course introduces students to the field of museum genomics (museomics) and the incredible resources that natural history museums provide for propelling the generation of genomic data and assessing phenotypic variation through space and time. Museomic data has broad utility, and this course will focus on its application in systematics, evolutionary ecology and conservation biology. It has a strong focus on natural history and contemporary genomic methods, and it covers topics ranging from sample collection and processing to data analysis and application.
