FRE351H5 • Creativity in French Second Language Teaching and Learning

This course explores creative approaches to teaching French as a second language, with a focus on fostering learners’ ability to understand, express, interact, and mediate in French. Artistic and innovative practices—such as plurilingual theatre, kamishibai, and image-based writing—are used to support oral and written communication, encourage self-expression, and stimulate creativity. Students will learn to design meaningful, engaging pedagogical activities that integrate imagination and the arts into dynamic and inclusive FSL learning environments.
