EDS430H5 • Action Research in Education

This course trains students in education research, emphasizing the role of the research practitioner. Students will build skills in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods to generate meaningful evidence-based insights. Drawing on their Education Studies background, students will learn principles and practices to address real-world educational challenges. Coursework will include insight into survey design, interview protocols and data analysis. Whether students are interested in studying the impact of a new pedagogy, curriculum or educational technology, this course provides the practical tools and preparation required to conduct action-research in a classroom context.
