This course analyzes the financial investment decision-making process of individuals and firms. Students will learn and apply the concept of time value of money. The course provides an introduction to the valuation of bonds and stocks, capital budgeting, risk and return, CAPM, portfolio theory, market efficiency and behavioural finance.
